celeste femme fitHi there gals!  I am Celeste, wife to Neil and mom to Bevan (24) and Chelsea (17). Femme Fit was bourne out of my desire to help other women just like myself facing diet, exercise and health challenges in addition to other daily commitments.  Knowledge is power and I would like to empower you to the very best that you can be!

Blogging allows me to combine several passions in one go.  I have been cooking from a young age and it just gives me so much joy.  My other loves are creative writing and photography; especially taking photographs of food.   I am a firm believer in the weight loss potential and health benefits of a low carbohydrate way of life;  especially as I am experiencing it first hand.  I have lost a bunch of weight by eating a low carbohydrate diet and regular exercising.  Watching my body as it transforms itself  has been nothing short of phenomenal! Here are my before and after pics :)

The low carbohydrate diet allows you to eat a huge variety of different foods and thats why I love it so much.  Feeling deprived while trying to shake the weight never works long term.  With a little bit of imagination, good herbs and spices most recipes can be adapted to be absolutely fabulous.  Healthy foods are exciting and should never be boring!  A varied but tasty low carbohydrate diet is definitely the key for staying committed and on track.
