Guacomole dip originating from Mexico is a crowd pleaser and loved by many. Cool and creamy guacamole with crispy and salty bacon makes for perfect snacking satisfaction.
This is a lovely low carb dip. If you are watching carbs quite strictly please feel free to reduce or eliminate the onion in this recipe.
- 4 strips of crispy bacon
- 2 large avocados, mashed
- 1 lime, juice
- 1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon coriander (cilantro), chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin, toasted and ground
- salt and pepper to taste
